The spray drying process can be summarized in the following steps:

The liquid content can be a solution, suspension, emulsion, gel or paste as long as it can be pumped and sprayed. Despite the very high temperature of the drying chamber, the sprayed particles remain at a much lower temperature for a very short time due to moisture loss. Hence, this drying method is basically known as “low temperature drying”.The product obtained from the spray spray contains finer particles and better particle size distribution, appearance, texture, shedding characteristics, compressibility, bulk density, dispersibility and solubility.
